Olivier Bernstein 2011 Clos De La Roche Grand Cru

91-94 BH

Noticeable but not intrusive wood is present on the spice and floral-inflected red berry fruit aromas that are still fresh and mostly primary. The supple and relatively forward middle weight flavors possess good punch and solid depth and persistence where the only nit is a hint of dryness. This is still on the way up and as such I would be inclined to allow it another 4 to 7 years of bottle age first.
